We covet the prayers of our faithful prayer partners and this is just a partial list of ongoing concerns at the camp. It includes the camp itself but just as important are our staff and families and our friends who have asked us to pray for them and their needs.
SMT Recruiting Starts January 11th and goes though April - Please Pray for
Students and our team as they travel all over the state to speak to college students about HLC3
Volunteers and SOWERS - We have 12 couples here next several weeks_ Thankfulness for them and that they are blessed for giving of their lives here at Highland Lakes
Bell Prayer Ministry - This a great way for everyone to be involved all year. We have created a key chain with a little bell attached to it and a card with a students first name from summer camp. These students made life changing decisions at camp by following Jesus Christ as receiving salvation. Many of them rang the bell at the end of each camp. We believe we can continue to make a difference in their lives by committing to pray for them until next summer. We took bells to each associational annual meeting and to our state conventions. The response has been incredible and we have each of the 610 names we had prayed for. There are some we do not have names so this can be a matter of general prayer.
Get Involved and pray for the future of these students and adults who cane to Christ this past summer!
NEEDS for Camp
Year End Financial help - please consider donating in Dec and Jan.
New swimming Pool - we are praying about how God wants us to tackle this project. If you are a contractor that can do plumbing, electrical, gunite, plaster, rebar installation etc. contact Rod for how you can get involved.
Golf Carts and work utility vehicles
commercial washer and dryers - a couple of these would save the camp alot of money each year.
