Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center
"No Better Place"

  • Did you know that Highland Lakes Camp and Conference Center (HLCCC) is more than just a summer camp!
  • Did you know that HLCCC was set up by Texas Baptists and it's assets are held and overseen by trustees from 12 different central Texas Baptist Associations to support the ongoing ministries in the local church, which means you have a direct stake/influence/ownership in the ministries here at HLCCC.             We also work very closely with many different groups and denominations to reach their ministry goals as well.
  • Did you know that HLCCC is run by by an on-site full time staff that seeks to serve its local churches, associations, groups and events with more than facilities and great camps?

We desire to provide a multi faceted ministry tool to help support your church reach more people for Christ, renew and draw followers of Christ into deeper relationship with Jesus, strengthen families and develop strong leaders in the church through, camps, retreats and events. We can provide facilities for your own churches group, event or retreat or you can partner with our staff to customize any retreat where we provide anything from to partial leadership or staff to the full leadership and staff for the retreat, camp or event and finally you can simply choose to participate in any great camp or retreat HLCCC provides. We also have short term mission trip projects here for your group to participate in from service projects, to construction of buildings and housing. We are even planning local and foreign mission trips for smaller groups or individuals to participate in.

Here are just a few ideas we can serve you with: Marriage retreats, church staff retreats, minister retreats where you come and relax, staff individual or family get away/retreat, men and women's retreat and conferences, DNOW's, adult and student leadership retreats, family day at the camp, evangelism conferences, worship events, concerts, mission trip projects and outdoor education. We even cater for weddings and family reunions held at HLCCC.

  • Did you know that dollar for dollar missions work here is more effective than any other dollars spent in missions world wide. We are seeing more people making decisions for Christ at camp than any one area we invest our missions money in.
So FIRST when you support your camp your mission giving goes further.

SECOND you have direct impact on your communities and churches by participating and supporting in camps, retreats and events held here at HLCCC.

THIRD your local church benefits in having a great tool to help accomplish your ministry goals.

We have seen over 16,700+ people come to Christ at HLCCC over the last 50 years and many 1,000's of other decisions to follow, serve and be on mission with Jesus Christ since the camp was started.
Our strength is in our commitment to Jesus Christ and our staff living and working together every day to serve our local churches. It starts with a a strong vision from our Executive Director, Danny Dawdy, and our Board of Directors as they have sought Jesus Christ working together to create an incredible place to do ministry.
The rest of the staff comprises of full time, part time, and many many volunteers who are called here to the camp as ministers and missionaries with various gifts and are qualified to do most anything. They are willing to serve your needs first and they can offer support in providing programming, personnel, personalities, teaching and worship etc for any type of camp retreat or event.
