Miles Auditorium Fire: After the fire, building codes for Travis County have been changed to create several additional construction costs we did not expect plus part of the construction not covered by insurance. we were able to borrow the needed funds to rebuild the auditorium which fees do cover but do put a strain on our capital improvements and deferred maintenance needs. We are asking for several families who have been impacted by Highland lakes to make a 5 year commitment to help in paying off the debt. | Donate Click Here |
| New Pool: Our existing pool was built in 1964 and is literally draining out from underneath us. The repairs are extensive and the costs to maintain are rising. Plus with fluctuating lake levels we need a permanent option to keep campers cool and happy in the summer. | Donate Click Here |
| Lakeside Hotel: As our retreats and conferences grow each year and adult guests prefer to be in a hotel type of facility. To reach the adult today we have a dream of putting up a 100 bed hotel near the Tabernacle overlooking beautiful Lake Travis. We use all volunteer builders from the Texas Baptist Men, Campers on Mission and the SOWERS groups to keep costs down. | Donate Click Here |
| Staff Housing: Our staff is growing to meet the needs of our campers, conference and retreat guests. It works best to have all staff living in the community because so many of them do more than just their main job duties which requires us to have staff here 24 hours a day and seven days a week. We are desperately needing larger housing space to meet the basic needs of our growing families on campus plus the many summer interns we house in the summer.
