Worship Leaders

Session 1: July 16-17

Speaker and Worship Leader: Tim & Amanda Cowles

Special Event: Captain Escape

Tim & Amanda Cowles believe in the importance of reaching up and reaching out! Their goal is to help children learn how to REACH UP to God and REACH OUT to those around them.

We are never too young to set our foundations on Christ, and Tim & Amanda feel strongly about helping children learn how to take an active role in their spiritual growth. Their desire is for children to learn how and why we yield to God His rightful place in our lives.

Every year Tim & Amanda travel nationally and internationally and speak to thousands of children and their families. Their programs are packed full with impressive stage illusions, object lessons, ventriloquism, puppetry, audience participation and music. Whether your children are helping on stage, sniffing plungers, or discovering the world's greatest hero, they are sure to leave uplifted and with a clear understanding of God's love. They will learn that knowing God is active and knowing God is "what it's all about." www.forhiskidz.com

Rich Landry’s (Captain Escape) illusions are designed to present the Word of God in a simple, fun manner for kids of all ages to hear. Rich uses comedy, illusions, big escapes and a lot of just plain fun to help kids and adults understand that God is real and He wants a relationship with each of us. Rich believes that too many kids feel that they are all alone through the struggles of life. They don't think anyone cares and they miss out on God's love because they don't know it is there for the asking. Captain Escape makes learning about God a lesson in fun and laughter that drives home the simple message that God and his amazing love for each one of us is always near. www.forhiskidz.com

Session 2: August 6-7

Speaker: Mark Thompson

Worship Leader: Mark Thompson

Special Event: Captain Escape

Mark Thompson and the Funny Bunch will have you laughing so hard your face will hurt! But you better be ready... you'll also hear about the God who loves you. While doing silly things along with the puppets, the audience becomes a part of the show. Kids of all ages enjoy this healthy dose of fun while learning about the grace of God and the message of Jesus. Since the age of six, Mark has been ministering with puppets and music. From 1982 to 1992 Mark served as a local church music pastor and was on a church staff from 1992 to 1995 as a children's pastor. Throughout the world since 1995, Mark has been sharing his unique blend of comedy and ministry with audiences as a minister, educator and family entertainer. www.markthompson.org
