Children's Camp

(For children who have completed grades 1-3; or age 7 years old by 9/1/08)
At Children's Camp, boys and girls who have completed 1st-3rd grade will discover new and exciting ways of growing in their relationship with God and others. Children's Camp offers a safe and active camping experience where children will build friendships, develop skills, grow in confidence, and create great summer memories that last a lifetime.
Each day children will experience dynamic worship celebrations and Bible study times designed to present the message of God's love in a language kids understand and with memorable activities that are relevant to young lives. Designed to allow children to experience fun adventures, great times with friends, and intimate worship experiences, Children's Camp will enrich in the total personality of each camper.

Worship Leader
Dennis Lee is a name loved by children and adults alike. This award-winning ventriloquist, comedian, and inspiring speaker performs upwards of 500 times a year for schools, churches, and festivals all across America using the gifts and dreams God implanted within him as a small child. He is also an accomplished pianist and songwriter who enjoys leading children in enthusiastic songs of praise to Jesus. As a speaker, Dennis is motivational and genuine as he delivers the truths of Christ in a down-to-earth, believable way. A nonrefundable registration deposit of $25 will secure each camper's reservation. Each camper's registration fee is based upon the postmark date of which their deposit is received. The remaining registration balance plus all required camp forms are due on or before July 8, 2008. Confirmation of reservation will be issued upon completion of requirements.
Adult Counselor Requirements
Much is required of the adult counselor, demanding a physically fit, emotionally and spiritually mature person who relates well with children. He/she is expected to serve as a family group leader and assist with the camp activities. The adult counselor is an encourager, disciplinarian, dorm supervisor, and discussion leader.
Churches must send one (1) adult counselor for every eight (8) campers. For every 8 girls there must be a female counselor and for every 8 boys, a male counselor. Counselors are to be at least 19 years of age, are required to be housed with their campers, and are expected to assist in the camp activities.
